Here we go…

I don’t really consider myself a blogger (and certainly not a good writer).  I might do stupid stuff  that I live to tell about from time to time; and I might even consider myself a good story teller, but would I really subject others to reading a blog all about me?   Fortunately, no.  I’ll leave most of my personal tales out of this, because truly the only thing that would bring me to creating a blog is something spectacular and out of this world – nothing going on in my wee little life.

Then what, you may ask yourself, would actually cause me to enter the blogosphere?  Nothing other than my sister.  She is pushing her mind and body beyond all reasonable limits to compete in an Ironman Triathlon.  Ya know?… the one where you swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, then finish up with a marathon (26.2 miles).  Kinda badass.  She’ll pretty much be doing more in one day then I’ll do in a week…. ok ok, you got me, probably a month.

So that’s what this is all about.  I’m trying to spread the word and get people to jump on board of Team Preddy.  Kelly’s training is intense and time consuming, and the least I can do right now is show my support.  Additionally, I’ll be selling some ‘Team Preddy’ t-shirts in order to spread the ‘Team Preddy’  vibe throughout her circles of friends, training mates, and family – so keep your eyes peeled for that.
